The Muslim terrorist, who was shot and eliminated,  belonged to a relatively new terrorist group, the group claimed shortly after the attack.

The group named themselves “the martyr of Baha Alyan collective,” after one of two Muslim terrorists that carried out a combined shooting and stabbing attack on a bus in Jerusalem in October 2015.

Just hours after the terror attack, PM Netanyahu blamed ISIS, raising questions about how he came to that conclusion.

Two years later, Tawhid al-Jihad, an ISIS-linked Salafist group in Gaza published a banner claiming one of their terrorists was behind the truck-ramming attack.
