UK: Man falls ill near restaurant where Skripals dined, in another suspected Novichok poisoning
Police have closed a road in Salisbury where Sergei Skripal and his daughter were poisoned with Novichok.
A man in his thirties is understood to have fallen ill near the Zizzi restaurant in Wiltshire.
Witnesses reported commotion near today’s incident, which follows the poisoning of two others with the nerve agent in Amesbury.
Wiltshire Police say there is nothing to suggest any wider risk to the public at this time but people are being asked to avoid the area for the time being.
It comes after Charlie Rowley and his partner Dawn Sturgess were poisoned after relaxing in a park near the Zizzi. Sturgess, 44, died as a result and Rowley remains in intensive care.
