Two rockets fired from Sinai hit southern Israel

The Color Red missile alert has been sounded in the Eshkol Council Region next to Gaza.

Searches are underway for signs of missiles that set off the Color Red alert system on Sunday evening. The Israel Defense Forces say two launches were detected originating in the Sinai Peninsula.

Explosions were heard shortly thereafter but there were no immediate reports of casualties.
