Terror in Germany: 14 people stabbed by Muslim terrorist on a bus in Lübeck
At least 14 people have been injured, two of them seriously, in a knife attack in the northern German city of Luebeck, local media reports.
Police have confirmed the terror attack, adding that a large operation is underway.
The Knife-wielding terrorist is about 30 years old and came from Iran.
The terrorist is said to have been armed with a knife – although amid confused early reports, some media are reporting the existence of a gun, yet to be confirmed.
Eyewitnesses say the bus was full at the time, when a male passenger dropped a backpack.
The Muslim terrorist then reportedly attacked those on the bus, it said.
The bus driver stopped the vehicle immediately and opened the doors for passengers to flee, before he too was attacked.
Local reports claim the Iranian terrorist dumped a ‘smouldering backpack’ before he was neutralized by police and arrested at the scene of the terror attack.
Police said there were no fatalities.
