Terror attack thwarted at Samaria military court – Muslim terrorist arrested
Border Police officers arrested a Muslim terrorist carrying an explosive device attached to his body in the security checkpoint at the entrance to the military court in Samaria.
Security forces stationed at the entrance of the court prevented the Muslim terrorist from entering and transferred him for investigation.
With the discovery of the bomb, the soldiers sealed off the entrance and sappers eventually neutralized the device with a controlled explosion near the site.
The IDF arrested 12 Muslim terrorists over the weekend and Shavuot holiday in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in terrorism and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.
The terrorists were turned over to security agencies for further investigation.
In addition, as part of an ongoing campaign against illegal weapons, IDF troops found and seized three weapons and ammunition in the Arab villages of Beit Awwa in Hevron and al-Khader in Samaria.
As part of counter-terrorism operations against funds used for terrorism, the IDF seized tens of thousands of shekels of terror money in the Arab village of Amatin in Samaria.
