Syria: Israel allegedly struck Hezbollah, Iranian targets near Damascus airport
The Damascus airport is reportedly targeted by an Israeli missile strike. The Syrian air defenses launched several missiles in response.
Last month, Israel bombed Iranian and Hezbollah targets in three waves of air and missile strikes.
Israel allegedly struck an Iranian military communications base in al-Kiwash, a town south of Damascus, which is only 50 kilometers away from the Israeli border.
Additional Iranian bases, headquarters, weapons storages, missile batteries, and Hezbollah facilities were hit in Qanaqar southwest of Damascus, near Damascus airport and Quneitra, near Israel’s Golan border in three waves of air and missile attacks.
