Police recovered a Carl-Gustav style submachine gun from the terrorist’s body, a cheaply-manufactured weapon which has been regularly used by Palestinian Arab terrorists in shooting attacks.
The injured officers have been evacuated to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital for treatment.
One of the police officers wounded in the shooting attack in Jerusalem is in extremely severe condition. His life is in danger.
The second victim is fully conscious and in moderate condition, sources within Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital announced.
