Sderot mayor: Ceasefire is a mistake -Gaza terrorists prepare for Friday riots after mosque
Sderot Mayor Alon Davidi said that a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas that reportedly went into on Thursday night following a massive exchange of rocket fire from Gaza and IDF airstrikes is a mistake.
“I understand the desire to reach negotiations, but in my opinion the ceasefire is a mistake. We will have to reach an operation, to eradicate this terror. The intermittent war is unhealthy for us and not good for the State of Israel,” Davidi said.
Tamir Idan, head of the Sdot Negev Regional Council, said that “no one has informed us of the ceasefire. There was no hesitation. Hamas determines when fighting will begin, and when it will end. We expect a military operation that will remove Hamas, or a comprehensive and long-term arrangement that will include all kinds of terror.”
On Friday morning, shortly after the IDF Homefront Command announced that all security restrictions in Israeli towns near the Gaza border had been lifted, a firebomb attached to a balloon was seen overflying Sderot.
As every Friday after mosque, under the guise of smoke and riots, Muslim terrorists in Gaza will attempt to sabotage the security border fence in order to infiltrate into Israel and kill Jews.
