Rockets fired by Muslim terrorists from Gaza at Israeli civilians in southern Israel

BREAKING: Rockets were fired by Muslim terrorists in Gaza towards southern Israel.

Code Red rocket alert sirens sounded in Nir Itzhak and kibbutz Sufa in the Eshkol Regional Council.

According to initial reports, a rocket exploded in an open area causing no damage or injuries.

About an hour and a half later, a second rocket was fired from Gaza into Israeli territory. Residents in Hof Ashkelon heard a powerful explosion without warning sirens.

The IDF confirmed that the rocket exploded in an open area and there were no injuries or damages. No siren sounded before the explosion, ‘as there was no threat’, according to the statement.

Earlier on Friday, the IDF deployed additional Iron Dome missile defense batteries in southern Israel, in preparation for a possible escalation and missile attacks towards Israel.

An armed Muslim terrorist was shot and eliminated by IDF troops yesterday, after approaching the security border fence near Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza.

The IDF said later on Thursday that the elimination was a “misunderstanding”.

According to the IDF, the terrorist, a senior member of the Hamas armed wing Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, whose sole mission is to murder Jews, was trying to prevent other Muslim terrorists from breaching the security border fence.

Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other terror groups and factions in Gaza vowed that their terrorists would retaliate.

As every Friday after mosque, some 6,000 Hamas-sponsored terrorists were rioting, burning tires, throwing rocks, launching firebombs, grenades and attempting to sabotage the security fence along the Gaza border in order to infiltrate into Israel and murder Jews.

IDF troops responded with riot dispersal means including live fire at main terrorists, in accordance with the rules of engagement.
