Rocket sirens continue to blare in southern Israel as IDF fighter jets bomb Hamas terror targets in Gaza

The IDF struck 87 Hamas terror group targets in Gaza over Friday night and Saturday morning after 40 rockets were fired by Muslim terrorists from Gaza at civilians in southern Israel.

In response to the rocket attacks, Israeli warplanes bombed Hamas terror targets in Gaza.

Muslim terrorists in Gaza fired several barrages of rockets into southern Israel late Friday, with the Iron Dome defense system destroying most of the incoming projectiles.

MDA paramedics treated 7 people for anxiety in Sderot. A 53-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were evacuated to Barzilai Hospital in light condition, after being injured while running for shelter when sirens sounded.

Reports suggest that Israel has given the air force approval to carry out a large wave of strikes tonight over Gaza.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gadi Eisenkot held a security assessment at IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv with senior officials from the IDF and the Shin Bet.

The IDF’s Home Front Command overnight issued instructions restricting gatherings in the Gaza periphery: up to 100 people in open areas and 500 people in closed spaces.

The Islamic Jihad issued a statement suggesting they have fired the rockets in response to the Muslim terrorists eliminated while attempting to invade Israel during today’s riots along the security border fence.
