Reports: Ceasefire reached between Israel and Hamas – Israeli officials: There is no ceasefire
Following a full combat day between Israel and Hamas terrorists in Gaza, Al Jazeera reported that Israel and Hamas have signed a ceasefire deal.
The report came shortly after the Security Cabinet instructed the IDF to continue acting forcefully against the terrorist groups in Gaza.
Israeli officials denied a truce had been reached.
According to Israeli officials, Hamas terrorists want to end the current round of rocket attacks and Israeli response targeting high-profile targets.

Egypt said earlier Thursday that it has been working with both Israel and Hamas since Wednesday to prevent an escalation. According to an Egyptian source, Cairo is continuing its communication with various actors in order to restore the calm and prevent further flare-ups.
Thousands of Israeli civilians living in Southern Israel have been running for shelter as more than 200 rockets were launched at them from Gaza.
At least 7 Israelis were wounded from the Gaza rockets, with one exploding as far as Beer Sheva. Mortar shells and rockets also hit the entrance of a residential home in Sderot, a house in Hof Ashkelon Regional Council and a building in an industrial zone of the Shaar HaNegev Regional Council. The Iron Dome intercepted at least 30 rockets.
