PLO terror group cancels recognition of Israel until it recognizes the imaginary state of Palestine
BREAKING: The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) terror group Central Committee voted on Monday to suspend the recognition of Israel until the latter decides to recognize an imaginary Palestinian state.
The move requires Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ consent.
The decision by the top Palestinian Authority committee calls to cease security coordination with Israel in all its aspects and to suspend all economic agreements.
The central committee authorized Abbas and the PLO Executive Committee to decide if and when they wish to execute the decision.
The PLO Central Committee and the Palestinian National Council have in recent months reached a number of decisions calling for the dismantling of the Palestinian Authority, but Abbas and the PLO Executive Committee refrained from implementing them.
The move comes as relations between the United States and the Palestinian Authority are at an all-time low. US President Donald Trump is expected to unveil a peace plan in the coming months, The PA has already publicly rejected the plan, even before it has been presented to it.
