Nasrallah’s deputy: There is no point in Israel out of Hezbollah’s missiles range

Lebanon-based terror group Hezbollah’s second-in-command Sheikh-terrorist Naim Qassem claimed on Saturday that there is no point in Israel out of Hezbollah’s missiles range.

“Hezbollah has created deterrence, and it makes an Israeli-initiated war against Lebanon very difficult”, Nasrallah’s deputy added.

The Sheikh-terrorist did not specifically respond to the IDF’s Operation Northern Shield, which was launched to expose and neutralize cross-border terror tunnels dug by Hezbollah Muslim terrorists in order to infiltrate into Israel and murder Jews in their homes.

Israel has warned Lebanon that it would strike Hezbollah in Lebanese territory if the terror group doesn’t stop making precision-guided missiles with Iranian help, U.S. and Israeli officials said.

Israeli officials are concerned that Iranian-supplied weapons and materials could transform Hezbollah’s missiles into precision-guided munitions capable of homing in on Israeli targets. Such weapons could erode Israel’s technological military advantage in the region and complicate efforts to defend its northern border and cities.

Israel asked US and French officials to deliver warnings to the Lebanese government over the past month that it would act to stop a missile buildup in Lebanon, according to US, Israeli and intelligence officials.

At the United Nations General Assembly in September, Netanyahu revealed satellite images of three sites in Beirut, including Beirut’s main airport, that are being used by the Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group to hide underground precision missile production facilities.

IDF forces discovered a second Hezbollah’s cross-border terror tunnel dug by Muslim terrorists from southern Lebanon, in order to infiltrate into Israel and slaughter Jews in their homes.

Hezbollah terrorists were active in the tunnel up until this week.

IDF engineers fitted the tunnel with explosives and warned against attempting to approach it.

Earlier on Saturday, the IDF fired towards three Hezbollah terrorists who were approaching IDF engineering units operating in the Lebanon border. According to the IDF spokesperson, all of them fled back.
