Muslim terrorists riot along the Gaza border – Qatar transfers $15M to pay Hamas terrorists’ salaries
As every Friday after mosque, some 10,000 Muslim terrorists were rioting, burning tires, throwing rocks, launching firebombs and attempting to sabotage the security border fence in order to infiltrate into Israel and murder Jews.
IDF troops responded with riot dispersal means and live fire in accordance with the rules of engagement.
Hamas’s security forces prevented most of the Hamas-sponsored rioters from approaching the security fence.
This is the fourth consecutive weekend during which Hamas attempted to restrain the terror attacks and infiltration attempts along the Gaza border, following an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire with Israel.
The Hamas-ruled health ministry in Gaza said only 33 Muslim terrorists were wounded during the riots. According to Arab reports, two children were seriously injured; circumstances unclear.
A Qatari envoy delivered $15 million to Hamas on Thursday. Reports in Gaza say the envoy, Mohammed el-Amadi, has arrived in Gaza through Israel’s Erez crossing.
Five million dollars will be used to pay Hamas terrorists’ wages, an additional five will be transferred to families of the Muslim terrorists eliminated or wounded during riots and infiltration attempts, and the rest will be allocated to
foster employment [recruitment of more terrorists], according to assessments.
Thousands queued in the winter cold to get their cash at post offices—one of which was decorated with a large mural of Qatar’s emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the message “Thanks Qatar”.
