Muslim terrorist caught alive after throwing grenades at IDF troops near the Gaza border
IDF forces shot and arrested a Muslim terrorist who threw a number of grenades at troops near the security border fence in northern Gaza.
The grenades failed to explode.
In response, IDF troops fired towards the terrorist, caught him alive and arrested him.
The terrorist, who was armed with a knife and wire cutters, was transferred to security forces for further questioning.
The incident came hours after reports of an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire that was reached between Israel and Hamas terror group on Tuesday evening, after almost 500 rockets fired at southern Israel by Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists in Gaza.
Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman announced a special meeting of his party, after which he is expected to deliver a ‘major announcement’ to the media, sparking rumors he could resign over the ceasefire pushed by PM Netanyahu.
