Makeshift weapons in children’s bag: Border Police thwarts infiltration attempt from Jenin

Border Police forces prevented an infiltration attempt overnight Sunday of several Muslim terrorists in the Jenin area.

The police said several Muslim infiltrators fled back to Jenin, while some escaped the police inside the Israeli territory.

Makeshift weapons had been found in a children’s backpack of one of the terrorists.

One Muslim terrorist, a 20-year-old from Jenin, was arrested and taken in for questioning by security officials.

In addition, the IDF arrested 18 Muslim terrorists overnight in Judea and Samaria, who were wanted for involvement in lone wolf terror attacks and violent disorders directed against civilians and security personnel.

All of the terrorists were transferred to the appropriate security personnel for questioning.
