London: Rail terminal evacuated after Muslim terrorist claimed to have a bomb on the tracks
Charing Cross rail terminal in London was evacuated after reports of a Muslim terrorist on the tracks who claimed to have an explosive device. The terrorist was swiftly detained by officers.
“A man claiming to have a bomb at Charing Cross station has now been arrested,” British Transport Police said. “We are now working to reopen the station as soon as possible.”
The major transport hub is in lockdown after emergency services rushed to the scene and arrested the terrorist.
Armed cops flooded the station just after 7.30am during the morning rush hour as the London Underground was shut down.
One eyewitness wrote on social media: ‘Loads of police including armed response at Charing Cross. Underground shut off and asking people to move away.’
