Jordan: Gunmen open fire on bus carrying tourists in Petra – No injuries
BREAKING: Jordan’s officials say that a tourists bus in Petra came under fire. No injuries reported.
According to local sources, “unknown gunmen” have opened fire on a tour bus.
A security source said that the bus, which belongs to Petra local authorities, sustained material damage but there were no injuries.
The chairman of the board of commissioners of the Petra Tourism Development Authority, Sulaiman Al-Farajat has denied that gunfire took place. According to his statement, someone broke in a tourist guide bus and broke a window adding that the police are looking for the suspect.
Petra is a historical and archaeological city in southern Jordan.
