Jerusalem bus bomber dies of wounds, Hamas claims responsibility
The terrorist behind Monday’s Jerusalem bus bombing has died of his wounds Wednesday night, in Sha’arei Tzedek Medical Center.
Shaare Zedek Medical Center spokeswoman Shoham Ruvio said the man, who lost both legs in the explosion, died at approximately 7 p.m. following multiple surgeries, but that police and hospital staff have yet to ascertain his identity.
“We don’t know anything about him – his name, his age, anything,” said Ruvio on Wednesday night, adding that a 13-year-old girl and 34-year-old woman remain at the hospital in light-to-moderate condition.
Hamas has announced on their website that the Arab who died from his wounds at the Jerusalem hospital Shaare Zedek is the terrorist who blew up the bus in the capital on Monday.
According to Hamas and Arab media, the terrorist was a 19-year-old Arab from Aida, next to Bethlehem who was a Hamas member.
