Israeli veterans protest outside Turkish Embassy in Tel Aviv against the Kurdish genocide

A pro-Kurdish protest organized by IDF ex-officers took place outside the Turkish Embassy in Tel Aviv following an official appeal to Defense and Prime Minister Netanyahu and to IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi.

“We, as Jews and Zionists, have the moral obligation to stand by the Kurds. We cannot abandon our allies and we need to stand side by side”, Maj. (res.) Yair Fink told i24News.

Some 200 protesters gathered near the Turkish embassy and marched toward the American Embassy on Yarkon Street in Tel Aviv, accompanied by a representative of the Kurdish YPG – the People’s Protection Units of the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria.

Last week, more than a hundred IDF reserve officers approached PM Netanyahu and Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi to request that they do everything possible to prevent the massacre of Kurds by the Turks in Syria.

Hours later, Netanyahu condemned Turkey’s invasion of the Kurdish areas in Syria and said that Israel is prepared to extend humanitarian assistance to the Kurdish people.

“Israel strongly condemns the Turkish invasion of the Kurdish areas in Syria and warns against the ethnic cleansing of the Kurds by Turkey and its proxies. Israel is prepared to extend humanitarian assistance to the gallant Kurdish people,” Netanyahu said in a statement.

President Trump has ordered a withdrawal of virtually all US forces from northern Syria after days of assurances from the Pentagon that the United States was not “abandoning” its partners in the campaign against ISIS.

“They trusted us and we broke that trust,” one U.S. Army officer who fought alongside the Kurds in northern Syria said last week “It’s a stain on the American conscience.”

Syria’s Kurds, abandoned, betrayed and facing a possible genocide, are battling to hold off a Turkish invasion.

⚠️ Warning, graphic videos.

Horrible videos emerged earlier this week from northern Syria of Turkey-proxy Muslim terrorists executing SDF Kurdish soldiers who fought alongside US troops in the battle against ISIS.

Hervin Khalaf, a female Kurdish politician, was raped and stoned to death yesterday by Turkish soldiers and their Muslim jihadist allies.
