Israeli murdered in stabbing attack near Jerusalem – Muslim terrorist eliminated
BREAKING: An Israeli man was murdered and another two were wounded in a stabbing attack by a Muslim terrorist at the Jewish community of Adam – Geva Binyamin, north of Jerusalem.
The terrorist was shot and eliminated by a civilian neighbor.
A 31-year-old man was in critical condition suffering stab wounds to his upper body. He was evacuated to the Hadassah Medical Center on Mt. Scopus in Jerusalem, where he later died of his wounds.
A 58-year-old man in moderate condition also suffering stab wounds to his upper body and a 41-year-old man who was in light with stab wounds to his limbs.
The lightly wounded man was taken to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in the capital, while the other two were evacuated to the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Mount Scopus.
A woman was also taken to the hospital suffering from shock.
Initial reports suggest that the Muslim terrorist infiltrated the Jewish community and brutally stabbed passersby.
IDF forces from the Binyamin Brigade were called to the scene and began wide-scale searches for additional terrorists.
The Muslim terrorist was identified as a 17-year-old Muhammad Tareq Yusuf from the city of Kaubar near Ramallah.
IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Ronen Manelis said that security forces continue to search the area.
“A civilian shot the terrorist and was slightly injured as a result of a direct confrontation with him. We continue to search the area and operations in the surrounding villages are expected to be conducted tonight, in cooperation with the Shin Bet that is conducting an investigation of the attack,” he concluded.
