Israeli fighter jets bomb Hamas terror targets in Gaza in response to rocket fire

BREAKING: Israeli fighter jets bombed Hamas terror targets in northern Gaza after a rocket launched by Muslim terrorists, exploded in an open area in southern Israel. 

According to Arab reports, a terrorist was injured in the strikes.

Code Red sirens sounded in Zikim, Ashkelon Southern Industrial Zone, Karmia, Netiv HaAssara, Ashkelon shortly after 11 p.m during the retaliatory airstrikes.

The alerts were triggered by machine-gun fire from Gaza. Muslim terrorists were targeting Israeli aircraft.

Code Red sirens sounded in southern Israel Friday night following a rocket launched from Gaza. The rocket exploded in an open area, causing no casualties or damage.

This is the fourth rocket fired from Gaza at Israeli civilians this week.

On Tuesday, a barrage of rockets was fired by Muslim terrorists in Gaza towards the city of Sderot. In response, Israeli fighter jets carried out retaliatory strikes targeting terror infrastructure in Gaza.

The latest escalation with Gaza began two weeks ago when an Israeli strike eliminated a top Islamic Jihad terrorist, Baha Abu al-Ata and brought a wave of rocket fire into Israel in response.
