BREAKING:  Israeli Air Force resume airstrikes in Gaza. A Hamas terror target in Wadi Gaza is hit with 3 missiles.

Israeli residents in towns near the fence are told to stay near shelters in anticipation of rocket attacks from Gaza.

A new airstrike reported now, this time in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza. Targets were attacked in the center and south thus far.

Terror groups in Gaza jointly announced their “shelling for shelling” policy.

Incoming rocket alerts sounding again in southern Israel. It may signal the start of a new escalation.

Israeli Air Force resume airstrikes in Gaza

More than 30 rockets were fired from Gaza at Israel overnight Saturday. Six were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system, and one exploded near an Israeli border community. No injuries were reported.

The IDF struck two Hamas terror tunnels and a terror training camp in Gaza, among other targets.

The strikes were conducted in response to the terror acts instigated during the violent riots along the security fence yesterday, in addition to the continuous arson attacks damaging Israeli land on a daily basis.

The IDF closed Zikim beach and issued new safety restrictions Saturday morning for Israeli communities near the Gaza border. Open-air gatherings are now restricted to 100 persons and 500 inside buildings.
