Israel strikes Hamas terror positions in Gaza after shooting attack on IDF patrol

BREAKING: IDF aircraft and tanks targeted two Hamas terror positions in Gaza in response to a shooting attack on an IDF force patrolling the security border fence east of Al Bureij.

There were no casualties.

According to Arab reports, the Islamic Jihad terror group is behind the sniper fire towards IDF troops.

Earlier today, an explosive device attached to balloons launched by Muslim terrorists in Gaza landed in the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon.

The IDF put in place a total closure of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza ahead of Passover.

The closure, a routine counter-terrorism procedure during Israeli and Jewish holidays, is expected to last until April 27.

The passage from Gaza into Israel will only be permitted for humanitarian, medical and exceptional cases, subject to the approval of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories.
