Israel bombs Hamas training camps and weapon warehouses in response to rockets – 1 terrorist eliminated
Muslim terrorists fired three barrages of rockets at Israeli civilians late on Friday. The IDF responded with a wave of pre-dawn airstrikes in Gaza targeting Hamas terror infrastructure, eliminating one Muslim terrorist and wounding two others.
Gaza health officials said the 27-year-old terrorist eliminated was among three terrorists wounded in an airstrike on a terrorist training camp in Khan Yunis, and that he had died in hospital.
“In response to rockets fired at Israel, we struck Hamas terror targets in Gaza including naval force and training compounds, a compound with an anti-missile simulator, weapon manufacturing, storage sites, and underground infrastructures. Terror targets civilians We target terror”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tweeted.
At least 20 rockets were launched by Muslim terrorists from Gaza at civilians in southern Israel. Ten of the rockets reached Israeli territory. Eight of those rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system.
One of the rockets struck the city of Sderot in southern Israel. An Israeli family obeyed instructions and were in shelters when the rocket hit their house. There was damage but no one was hurt.
None of the armed terrorist groups in Gaza claimed responsibility for firing the rockets. The IDF said Hamas, the terror group which rules Gaza, was ultimately responsible for the attacks.
Hamas armed wing Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, whose sole mission is to murder Jews, issued a statement threatening to respond to the elimination of its Muslim terrorist. “Israel will bear the consequences of its actions,” they said.
