ISIS leader al-Baghdadi releases speech urging Muslim terrorists to target media outlets
BREAKING: ISIS terror group leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi releases first audio recording in nearly a year, urging his Muslim terrorists to target the “disbeliever media centers” and headquarters of “ideological wars” and “fake news”.
Baghdadi’s new speech, entitled “Give Glad Tidings to the Patient,” is almost 55min.
He talks about US Pastor Brunson, which dates the message to this month and means he’s still alive.
After giving Eid al-Adha [festival of sacrifice] greetings to Muslim terrorists in Iraq, Syria and Yemen, the terror group leader prised ISIS terrorists who stayed with the group despite ‘hardships’.
“For the Mujahideen (
holy warriors) [Muslim terrorists] the scale of victory or defeat is not dependant on a city or town being stolen or subject to that who has aerial superiority, intercontinental missiles or smart bombs,” al-Baghdadi said.
Earlier this year, Iraqi News claimed the terror group leader has escaped from Iraq and is holed up in Africa.
Sameh Eid, an expert in the Jihadist group’s affairs in Egypt, said Baghdadi was likely to be in Africa, after the group terrorists fled Iraq and Syria.
Meanwhile, Najeh Ibrahim, former leader with Jamaa al-Islamiyah, said Baghdadi could be somewhere like northern Chad or the lawless border area between Algeria and Niger.
Expert Hisham al-Hashimi said al-Baghdadi is the only senior ISIS leader left alive.
“Out of 43 main leaders, Baghdadi is the only one left. Out of 79 senior leaders, there are only 10 left”, he said.
