Iraq 5 Rockets fired by Iran-backed terrorists hit base hosting US troops

BREAKING: Eight Katyusha rockets fired by Iran proxy terrorists exploded in a military base housing US troops.

Iranian-backed terrorists targeted the Balad Airbase, located 80 kilometers north of Baghdad.

The military sources said the rockets fell in the base’s runway inside the base.

According to local reports, four Iraqi soldiers were wounded in the attack.

A majority of US forces stationed at the Balad airbase had already left following an escalation between the US and Iran over the last two weeks.

Military bases hosting US troops in Iraq have been attacked by ballistic missiles from Iran and mortar shells launched by local Iran-backed terrorists, before and after the elimination of arch-terrorist Qassem Soleimani.
