IDF strikes Hezbollah terror group positions in the border town of Quneitra

BREAKING: Syrian media reports that Israeli tanks shelled Hezbollah terror group positions near the border town of Quneitra on the Golan Heights.

According to initial reports, the IDF targeted Hezbollah infrastructure which was operating under the cover of civilian activities in the Bariqa area of Quneitra.

State news agency SANA said that only material damage was caused, no casualties.

Earlier this week, the London based Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper reports Israel has expanded the scope of its Iranian targets in Iraq and Syria, amid reports of airstrikes earlier this month against ballistic missile shipments that have recently arrived in Iraq.

In the past, Israel has warned that it can reach Iraq to prevent Iran from stockpiling ballistic missiles in the country.

Israel has carried out scores of airstrikes in Syria against military deployments and arms deliveries by Iranian forces supporting Assad and Hezbollah.
