IDF officer lightly wounded during counter-terrorism operation in Bethlehem
An IDF officer was lightly wounded during violent riots in the Deheishe neighborhood of Bethlehem early Friday.
The officer was hit by a rock throwing at him during an overnight counter-terrorism operation. Some 200 terrorism-sympathizers began rioting after a Muslim terrorist was arrested.
The rioters threw rocks, firebombs, fireworks and explosive devices at IDF troops.
The officer was taken to a hospital.
In addition, as part of counter-terrorism operations against funds used for terrorism, the IDF seized thousands of shekels in the Arab village of Anabta in the Tulkarm area.
