Identity of Hezbollah terrorist caught on IDF camera inside terror tunnel exposed
BREAKING: The identity of a Hezbollah Muslim terrorist caught on camera by the IDF in a cross-border tunnel on the Lebanese border earlier this week was revealed by i24NEWS.
Monday evening, the IDF released footage from a hidden camera inside a Hezbollah terror tunnel that was dug by Muslim terrorists in order to infiltrate into Israel and slaughter Jews in their homes.
The terror tunnel was dug from Kafr Kela in Lebanon into Israeli territory, outside the Upper Galilee city of Metula.
A small explosive was triggered as the terrorists approach the camera. The terror tunnel was later neutralized.
An unnamed security official told i24NEWS that the Muslim terrorist who appeared on the video was Dr. Imad “Azaladin” Fahs, a commander of the Hezbollah terror group observation unit on the border with Israel, as well as a commander in the terror tunnel unit.
“Azaladin” who is in his 30’s, has a PhD in mechanical engineering from Tehran’s University of Technology and is married with two children.
According to the security official, “Azaladin” trained with Mexican drug cartels near the United States border.
The IDF called on the United Nations and Lebanon to destroy another Hezbollah cross-border terror tunnel that enters Israeli territory in the western Galilee.
The UNIFIL head confirmed the existence of Hezbollah terror tunnels close to the blue line with Israel. He added that he is engaged with parties to ‘pursue follow-up action’.
Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with foreign ambassadors in the north, close to the IDF units that are working to expose and neutralize the terror tunnels. He updated them on Operation Northern Shield and Hezbollah’s intentions to use the tunnels against Israel. The Prime Minister emphasized that the Hezbollah tunnels are only one expression of Iran’s aggression in the region.
“We are systematically and decisively denying our enemies the tunnels weapon. We are doing this with Hamas, and with Hezbollah; we will do whatever is necessary. Whoever attacks us – is taking his life into his hands. Hezbollah knows this and so does Hamas”, Netanyahu said.
Residents in southern Lebanon received Thursday morning text messages from Hezbollah, presenting two options; either cooperate with Hezbollah or evacuate from the area so as not to get involved in a future war.
