FRANCE – OUTRAGE: Muslim terrorist who brutally murdered Sarah Halimi will not stand trial

The Court of Appeal of Paris ruled that the Muslim terrorist who brutally murdered his Jewish neighbor Sarah Halimi two and a half years ago, will not face trial for mental incapacity caused by the use of cannabis.

The court relieved Kobili Traore (29) of criminal responsibility for the murder of Sarah Halimi, whom he bashed for about an hour while shouting ‘allahu akbar’ and calling her a demon before throwing the 60-year-old physician to her death from the balcony of her three-story apartment.

But Traore “does appear to have voluntarily ended the life of Sarah Halimi,” the court ruled, saying the murder was partly because of anti-Semitism.

The ruling states that the Muslim terrorist will be sent to a drug rehabilitation institution and was banned from contacting Halimi’s relatives.

According to Le Parisien, the decision was made following a professional opinion that indicated that the terrorist claimed to have attacked Halimi because of a “demon who possessed him” and was unaware of his actions due to increased use of cannabis.

Three experts who testified at the trial stated that Traore’s increased use of cannabis – 15 “joints” a day, reportedly – increased the delusions he experienced at the time.

The appeals court’s decision “marks the advent of a policy that gives impunity to anti-Semitic murder in France, EUJF, the French-Jewish student association, wrote on Twitter.

Orthodox Jew Sarah Halimi, 65, was beaten to death by her Muslim neighbor in April 2017.

Neighbors said they heard Traoré shout “allahu akbar”, before throwing Halimi off a balcony.

“I’ve killed the demon,” he shouted in Arabic, according to French media.

Neighbors reportedly testified that they had heard the Muslim terrorist shouting that he wanted to kill Halimi just before the murder.

In February 2018, the brutal murder of Sarah Halimi was declared an “anti-Semitic attack”, following global outcry at French authorities’ refusal to condemn the murder as an anti-Jewish hate crime.
