Fires broke out in southern Israel due to firebombs launched by Muslim terrorists in Gaza
Three fires broke out today in Israeli towns near the Gaza border due to incendiary balloons launched by Muslim terrorists from Gaza into Israel.
Their goal? Torching Israeli fields, destroying wildlife, people’s food and livelihoods.
Multiple fire departments, including KKL teams, gained control of the flames in Be’eri Forest, Sa’ad Junction and Shokeda Forest.
Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman addressed the incendiary balloon threat last week, saying “You can’t completely prevent all lone-wolf terror attacks, even balloons.”
Liberman decided Sunday to reopen the Erez Crossing after consultations with the IDF and other security bodies in light of the ‘relative quiet’ on the Gaza border and the significant drop in terror attacks over the last week.
