Firebomb-balloon launched by Muslim terrorists in Gaza, lands near dining room in Eshkol
Police sappers were called to a community in the Eshkol Regional Council on Saturday, after a firebomb attached to balloons, launched by Muslim terrorists in Gaza, landed near the dining room.
⚠ Police warn Israelis not to touch burning kites or balloons from Gaza.
Eshkol Regional Council head Gadi Yarkoni said that “‘returning to normal’ in the Gaza border communities means returning to incendiary balloons and fires. We won’t in any way accept this threat as legitimate daily routine, which happened with the Qassam rocket fire.”
On Friday, Sderot Mayor Alon Davidi said that a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas that reportedly went into on Thursday night following a massive exchange of rocket fire from Gaza and IDF airstrikes is a mistake.
Tamir Idan, head of the Sdot Negev Regional Council, said that “Hamas determines when fighting will begin, and when it will end. We expect a military operation that will remove Hamas, or a comprehensive and long-term arrangement that will include all kinds of terror.”
