Egypt bombs terror tunnel in Rafah, Gaza terrorists said trapped
The Egyptian military bombed a terror tunnel in southern Gaza and flooded water into it, according to Arab reports.
Emergency services in Gaza were trying to rescue Muslim terrorists who were trapped in the terror tunnel, the report said.
According to eyewitnesses in Rafah, eight Muslim terrorists are trapped in the tunnel. According to reports, contact has been made with the terrorists trapped in the tunnel and rescue forces are working to free them.
In February, the Egyptian Army launched a wide-scale operation against terrorists, mostly members of ISIS, in Northern Sinai. According to data from the Egyptian military, more than 300 terrorists and 37 military personnel have so far been killed. The operation is still ongoing.
More than 272 hideouts of terrorists were discovered and destroyed, and at least 250 wanted terrorists and suspects were detained.
