Egypt: 16 security forces, 2 civilians and a child murdered by ISIS terrorists in Sinai
ISIS terrorists carried out a large attack against Egyptian security forces stationed at a checkpoint in the northern Sinai Peninsula, killing 16 security personnel, two civilians and a child.
The terror attack took place in Bir al-Abed of North Sinai in the northeast of Egypt.
Terrorist group’s Amaq news agency claimed ISIS carried out the attack.
Hundreds of Muslim terrorists have been eliminated by the Egyptian army, backed by police and other security forces since it launched a wide-scale operation in February 2018 aimed at eradicating terrorists, mostly members of ISIS or related Muslim terror groups in the Sinai peninsula. The operation is still ongoing.
