DM Bennett: The action against Hamas will be very different —No one will be immune

Defense Minister Naftali Bennett said after a briefing in the Gaza Division that the deadly action against Hamas terrorists will be very different from those that preceded it and that “no one will be immune”.

“Israel does not want a war with Hamas in Gaza, but we have a commitment to the security of the residents of southern Israel. The indiscriminate conduct of the Hamas leaders is bringing us towards deadly action against them”, Bennett said at the end of the briefing.

“We will not announce when or where. The action will be very different from its predecessors —No one will be immune.”

“Hamas faces the choice: to choose life and economic prosperity or to choose terror and pay an unbeatable price. Their actions will determine the outcome”, DM Bennett added.

Yesterday, Israeli tanks shelled Hamas terror targets in Gaza in response to a rocket launched by Muslim terrorists towards southern Israel.

A Code Red alert was activated in the Home Front Command app for open areas only in the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council. One rocket exploded near the Gaza border.

“A rocket was just fired from Gaza into Israel. This marks the 7th launch from Gaza at Israel in the last week”, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tweeted.
