Denmark: Police arrest Swedish Muslim terrorist, issues warrant for another after bomb attacks in Copenhagen
BREAKING: Danish police have arrested a 22-year-old Swedish Muslim terrorist and issued an international warrant for another 23-year-old Swede terrorist, both suspected of being behind the explosion outside the Danish Tax Agency’s office in Copenhagen last week.
One person was lightly injured in the explosion which shattered glass doors and windows and scorched metal cladding at the main entrance of the building in what the police said was a deliberate attack.
Another explosion hit a police station early Saturday morning in the Danish capital. The building was damaged but no one was injured in the attack, which took place just outside the city center.
Danish police have urged the public to come forward with any information that may assist the investigation.
“We have asked a lot of investigators to work today and they will be ready to take your call, and make contact with those who might have seen something,” said Chief Police Inspector Jorgen Skov during a press conference.
Since February 2019, a total of nine large bombs have exploded in Copenhagen. The explosions received little attention in the international press.
