Couple found slaughtered in their apartment in Jerusalem’s Armon Hanatziv neighborhood

A 70-year-old man and woman were found murdered Sunday in their apartment on Mordekhai Elkakhi Street in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of Jerusalem, with their bodies covered with signs of violence and stabbing wounds.

The police have launched an investigation into the murder.

The object used to stab the couple did not appear to be in the apartment, the police said.

The victims’ daughter called emergency services, who broke open the door after not being able to reach them since last Thursday.

The day before, on 9th January, a 15-year-old teenage girl was stabbed by a Muslim terrorist while she was standing at a bust stop on same Mordekhai Elkakhi Street.

The teen called MDA and returned to her home, where emergency first responders found her lightly wounded with multiple stab wounds.

The same day two years ago, a Muslim terrorist rammed a truck into a group of IDF soldiers disembarking from a bus on the Armon Hanatziv Esplanade, murdering 4 and injuring 15 Israelis.

Two years later, Tawhid al-Jihad, an ISIS-linked Salafist group in Gaza published a banner claiming one of their terrorists was behind the truck-ramming attack.
