Christmas massacres thwarted: Muslim terrorists arrested in Pakistan, Egypt

Five Muslim terrorists who were planning to carry out a large-scale terror attack targeting Christians during Christmas celebrations were arrested after a shootout in Karachi’s Mobina town.

The terrorists were identified as Amjad, Naveed, Ali, Mumtaz, and Mureed. Security forces also seized arms and ammunition from their possession.

Christians make up one of the two largest non-Muslim religious minorities in Pakistan, along with Hindus.  Much of the Christian persecution in Pakistan comes from radical Muslim groups that flourish and expand under the favor of political parties, the army, and the government.
