Border Policeman wounded by explosive device thrown by Muslim terrorists in Abu Dis
BREAKING: A Border Police officer was lightly wounded by shrapnel from an explosive thrown at security forces operating in the Arab neighborhood of Abu Dis in Jerusalem.
The Border Police said the force was facing violent Muslim rioting, during which masked terrorists burned tires, threw rocks, launched fireworks and threw explosives at the troops – who responded with crowd dispersal measures.
The Border Policeman initially did not notice his injury and was only later taken to the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Karem.
Earlier on Friday, an IDF officer was moderately injured by a grenade that Muslim terrorists from Gaza threw at him during violent riots along the security fence.
Troops responded by firing towards the terrorists. A hit was identified. The officer was evacuated to Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva.
