BANNED: US bars entry to PLO terror group official Hanan Ashrawi
Hanan Ashrawi, a PLO terror group official and a senior figure in the Palestinian Authority who loves to hate America and Israel, announced that her US visa application has been rejected.
“It is official! My US visa application has been rejected. No reason given,” she wrote in the first of seven tweets, providing a list of reasons for her visa’s refusal.
A US State Department spokesperson said that “Visa records are confidential under US law; therefore, we cannot discuss the details of individual visa cases.”
The statement added that U.S. law “does not authorize the refusal of visas based solely on political statements or views if those statements or views would be lawful in the United States.”
Ashrawi has sparred publicly with U.S. President Donald Trump’s Mideast envoy Jason Greenblatt, saying on Twitter on Sunday that he is a “self-appointed advocate/apologist for Israel”.
Last month, The U.S. government denied entry to the co-founder of the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement Omar Barghouti.
