BANNED: Member of UK Labour Party who loves to hate Israel, denied entry to Israel
⛔ Gary Spedding, a British member of the anti-Semitic Labour Party and an anti-Israel lobbyist, was detained at Ben Gurion Airport and denied entry to Israel Monday, Spedding announced on his Twitter account.
Spedding, who loves to hate Israel, was deported from Israel to the UK five years ago for his involvement in organizing violent riots in Queens University in Belfast in which an Israeli lecturer was attacked.
At the time, the Interior Ministry’s Population and Immigration Authority prevented Spedding’s entry for a five-year period.
According to materials presented by the state of Israel to the appellate court in 2014, he was refused due to his intentions to participate in political activity against Israel in Judea and Samaria.
The State of Israel said Spedding had violated a previous entry visa and he had lied at passport control when asked for the reasons for his visit. Spedding was denied entry into Israel for a 10-year period, but the appellate court reduced it to five years, which ended this year.
Today, the Interior Ministry prevented him from entering Israel for the second time since his deportation in 2014.
He is now being held at the Ben Gurion International Airport holding facility pending deportation.
The immigration authority said Monday that Spedding’s entry had been denied again because he arrived without pre-approved authorization from the Israeli embassy in London as he had been required to do the last time he was deported from Israel.
