Prior to the rocket hit, a number of unexplained blasts occurred in the Khan Younis area, with Israel helicopters in the airspace.
According to Arab reports, a Muslim terrorist, likely a member of a rocket launching squad, was shot and eliminated by an Israeli helicopter near Deir al-Balah.
Earlier today, a failed rocket launched by Muslim terrorists landed in southern Gaza.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Office said it was an internal incident in Gaza, and refused to say whether the attack was aimed at Israel.
Today’s rocket attacks are blamed on Salafist terror groups. The leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror groups are in Cairo meeting with the Egyptian intelligence, and in Beirut, to mark the 40 years of the Iranian Islamic revolution with Hezbollah terrorists.
