US: Israel haters accuse Philharmonic Orchestra of apartheid
Dozens of BDS activists, jihad sympathizers and Israel haters in general, gathered in New York on Sunday to protest an Israel Philharmonic Orchestra concert at the city’s prestigious Carnegie Hall.
The Israel haters distributed flyers with the message “Don’t harmonize with apartheid” while chanting against Israel and calling for the cancellation of the Israeli Philharmonic’s concert, as well as the banning of all Israeli culture.
Several pro-Israel counter-protesters carrying a banner of a Muslim terrorist that read ‘this is NOT a victim’, gathered nearby.
Israel’s Consul in New York Dani Dayan said “I am proud of the arrival of the Philharmonic Orchestra in the United States. Israeli culture is in demand throughout the world and is a source of Israeli pride. This is not the first time that extremist anti-Israeli elements have organized a protest against Israeli culture. No protest will stop Israeli culture from flourishing both in Israel and abroad.”
“The dogs bark and our melody continues,” Dayan concluded.
Over 100 members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra are in the USA as a part of a week-long tour that started on Saturday. After two reveals in New York, they are going to be performing in a number of Florida places in addition to in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Strategic Affairs and Information Minister Gilad Erdan released Sunday a report prepared by his ministry, linking at least 30 Hamas, PFLP terrorists who were formerly convicted of murder and terrorism, working now in at least 13 anti-Israel BDS NGOs.
The report, called “Terrorists in Suits”, points to a web of global interconnections between BDS and terror groups. More than 100 connections were identified including joint campaigns, manpower and financial assistance.
