2 Muslim terrorists eliminated during Friday riots after mosque along Gaza border and Judea-Samaria
As every Friday after mosque, some 10,000 Hamas-sponsored terrorists were rioting, burning tires, throwing rocks, launching firebombs, grenades and attempting to sabotage the security fence along the Gaza border in order to infiltrate into Israel and murder Jews.
IDF troops responded with riot dispersal means including live fire at main terrorists, in accordance with the rules of engagement.
According to Arab reports, a Muslim terrorist was shot and eliminated during the violent riots.
The Hamas-ruled Health Ministry in Gaza said a 25-year-old Muslim terrorist was shot and eliminated and at least 40 others were wounded during the riots along the border.
A 16-year-old rock-thrower terrorist was shot and eliminated by IDF fire during violent riots after mosque in Judea and Samaria. According to Arab reports, a rubber bullet hit the terrorist during riots near Tekoa, north of Ramallah.
According to the IDF, three teen-terrorists attempted to murder Jews by throwing rocks at passing vehicles driving on the highway near the Arab village of Silwad in Samaria.
Soldiers fired on the terrorists, who received medical treatment by Israeli forces at the scene. One of the terrorists later died of his wounds and another terrorist was wounded, the IDF said in a statement.
Earlier Friday, Qatari diplomat Muhammed al-Emadi, visiting Gaza, said Qatari funds that were supposed to arrive in Gaza but were refused by Hamas on Thursday will be redirected to humanitarian projects in Gaza in coordination with the United Nations.
The transfer that was to be delivered was delayed for more than two weeks following an escalation in terror attack along Israel’s border with Gaza.
The IDF called up Iron Dome reserve units and deployed additional missile defense batteries in Haifa, Jerusalem, central and southern Israel, in preparation for a possible escalation and missile attacks from Syria or Gaza.
