Russia demands from Israel to stop “arbitrary” strikes on Iranian weapons in Syria

BREAKING: Russia called on Israel to rule out the practice of carrying out ‘arbitrary’ airstrikes in Syria, the spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, told a press briefing.

“The practice of arbitrary strikes on the territory of a sovereign state, in this case, we are talking about Syria, should be ruled out,” Zakharova said, in answer to a question from Russian news agency TASS about recent Israeli air strikes on Syria.

“The escalation of hostilities in the region is not in line with the interests of Middle East states, including Israel,” she added.
