Prime Minister Netanyahu:

“I was very impressed by the visit to the Special Anti-Terror Unit. This combination of its fighters with Shin Bet personnel, who provide praiseworthy intelligence, gives us the best counter-terrorism unit in the world. All countries come here and ask us ‘Bring them to us that we may learn from them’.

The citizens of Israel need to know that whoever attacked or murdered an Israeli citizen in the past year was either eliminated or apprehended. This is an unparalleled achievement in the world and it is because of these people and their daring, heroism, creativity and commitment. On behalf of the entire nation, I say – we take our hats off. Well done!

Every enemy of Israel knows that Israel’s arm will reach him, via the fighters of the Special Anti-Terror Unit and the ISA.”

Public Security Minister Erdan:

“The guiding command for the fighters of the Israel Police Special Anti-Terror Unit is ‘I will pursue my enemies and overtake them and will not return until they are consumed.’ The recent achievements of the Special Anti-Terror Unit have again proven that it is realizing this command at every opportunity. The amazing abilities of the unit’s fighters are without peer in the world and I am very proud of them. It is no coincidence that the most widespread request to me from public security ministers around the world is to send Special Anti-Terror Unit teams to train their police forces to deal with various terrorist scenarios. I will continue to do everything to strengthen the unit’s ability to save lives and settle scores with terrorists.”

Rambo, the hero dog who helped to locate and eliminate the Muslim terrorist who murdered Ziv Hagbi and Kim Levengrond Yehezkel at the Barkan industrial area in Samaria, met President Rivlin last month at his residence in Jerusalem.

Rambo is recovering from injuries sustained during a counter-terrorism operation, which ended with the elimination of the terrorist in an exchange of fire.
