UK: Muslim terrorist planning attack arrested after landing at Luton Airport

A 32-year-old Muslim terrorist has been arrested at Luton Airport on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts, Scotland Yard has said.

Police say the terrorist, who was arrested after landing on an inbound flight to London, was taken into custody over Syria-related offenses and not for any offenses at the airport.

The terrorist has been taken to a police station in the Bedfordshire area and remains in custody.

‘The investigation is being conducted by detectives from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command”, a Met Police spokesperson said. ‘The arrest is Syria-related and not related to any offenses at the airport. Inquiries continue,’ he added.
