“Today we visited the families of Kim Levengrond Yehezkel and Ziv Hagbi. Our hearts, just as the hearts of the entire nation, are torn at the loss of their loved ones,” said the prime minister following the meetings via his Twitter account.
“We will catch the abominable murderer and bring him to justice,” he added, referring to the ongoing manhunt for the terrorist responsible for the attack.
The Border Police’s counter-terrorism special unit Yamam, the elite Duvdevan unit, the counterterrorism Lotar unit, and the IDF Oketz Unit, as well as Shin Bet forces and Central Command and Judea-Samaria Brigade soldiers, are taking part in the manhunt for the Muslim terrorist who brutally murdered Kim Levengrond Yehezkel (28) and Ziv Hajabi (35), and wounded another woman in Sunday morning’s shooting attack.
New details were revealed on Wednesday about the brutal terror attack. According to testimonies of workers who were at the scene and were exposed to footage from security cameras, the Muslim terrorist did not immediately flee but hid in a kitchen adjacent for about five minutes while the factory workers treated the victims and then fled the factory.
Testimonies reveal that the terrorist forced a janitor, a resident of the Palestinian Authority, to handcuff Kim Levengrond Yehezkel prior to executing her, and then released him unharmed. He was interrogated by the Shin Bet but was not arrested.
Shortly before 8 a.m., a Muslim terrorist entered a factory where he worked in the Barkan Industrial Zone, near Ariel, armed with a locally-made Carlo submachine gun.
The terrorist went upstairs to fix an electrical malfunction on the second floor, noticed several employees, and decided to go back downstairs. The terrorist took zip ties from the factory’s warehouse and then returned to the second floor to carry out the terror attack.
Upon reaching the second floor, where the factory’s offices are located, the Muslim terrorist forced a janitor at gunpoint to handcuff the victim, released him unharmed and executed Kim Levengrond-Yehezkel.
The terrorist then advanced towards the office of Ziv Hajabi and shot him to death as well.
After the terror attack, the terrorist waited for about five minutes while the factory workers treated the victims and then fled the factory, still armed with the submachine gun, boarded a car and headed in the direction of Shechem.
