First Muslim terrorist eliminated in today’s riots along the Gaza border – Combat soldier lightly wounded
Grenade shrapnel hit a combat soldier, injuring him. In response, an IDF aircraft carried out several strikes on terrorist positions in northern Gaza.
“IDF soldiers are responding with crowd dispersal measures and with accordance to rules of engagement,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.
A 25-year-old Muslim terrorist was shot and eliminated and 54 others were wounded by IDF fire during the violent riots, the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry said. Four of the wounded terrorists were said to be in serious condition, while one was reportedly in critical condition.
The Health Ministry said 312 Muslim terrorists were wounded altogether, 100 of whom required hospitalization.
Hamas terror group leader Yahya Sinwar arrived at the riots held near Gaza City and called its Muslim terrorists to continue the terror attacks until the [legal] ‘blockade’ [meant to prevent weapons from being transferred into the hands of terrorists, including the ruling Hamas terror group] over Gaza is lifted.
Earlier on Friday, the IDF deployed Iron Dome missile defense batteries in southern Israel and in additional Israeli towns near the Gaza border, in preparation for a possible escalation and rocket fire towards Israel.
Since morning, several fires broke out in Israeli towns near the Gaza border due to incendiary balloons launched by Muslim terrorists from Gaza into Israel.
Multiple fire department units dealt with fires in Erez, near Sderot train station, Yakhini, Nirim.
